Skills, Training, Readiness, Independence and Vocational Empowerment (STRIVE) is a course developed for young people seeking to gain the skills to live independently, enrol in training, or find employment.
The STRIVE program is highly interactive and delivered through onsite immersive experiences as well as offsite explorations. Throughout the course learners develop skills in independent living, explore prospective careers, meet with industry specialists, and prepare for job searching and starting work or further education via apprenticeships or traineeships.

Course Outline
Participants in the STRIVE program will be enrolled in the Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways or Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways, and delivery is tailored to each learner’s individual needs. Units will be selected from the following qualifications:

Course Outcome
On successful completion, you will receive the FSK10119 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways, FSK10219 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways, or a Statement of Attainment for partial completion.
