Develop the skills needed to operate digital devices for work or job searching. The Digital Essentials Level 1 course will cover everything you need to know about digital devices, and no prior knowledge is needed to enter this course. Learners are encouraged to bring their own smartphone and/or tablet in order to develop skills on a familiar device.
By studying Digital Essentials Level 1 you will develop the skills to
Navigate and understand the functions of a range of personal devices
Navigate the internet safely, and send and receive emails including attachments
Understand Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles for using digital devices
Download new applications, files and documents, and shut down applications and devices
You will strengthen your:
Digital skills using personal devices
Pathways to employment
Pathways to further study

There are no entry requirements for the Digital Essentials Level 1 course.

System Requirements
We encourage you to bring your own smartphone and/or tablet to develop skills on a familiar device but this is not a requirement and our classrooms are outfitted with a range of digital devices.
Delivery Information
This course is delivered in person.
Participants will generally require 100 hours of attendance to achieve the learning outcomes of this course. Attendance can be Part-Time or Full-Time.
